blackmaps is a Tokyo and London based independent label focusing on high end music driven content produced with acute attention to detail and presented as collectible works. With recorded sound at its core, blackmaps expands the parameters of a record label with its focus dilating from music to experimental film, private press literature, design commissions, events and beyond.
Working with wide-eyed songwriters, ensemble collectives and electronic experimentalists, blackmaps audio works range from limited boutique analogue editions to full scale multi format releases available in all major territories.
The first blackmaps book project “Anna & The Witch’s Bottle” (Cox/Eason/Rebelski) is now available, issued by Black Maps Press in a cloth bound hard-back edition of 300 with exclusive sound recordings and hand printed packaging.

Anna & The Witch’s Bottle” とはblackmapsによる出版業の開始宣言として企画、監修された、イラストレーションブック。ジェフ・コックス著、ローハン・ダニエル・イーソン画によるこの作品は、Dovesのマーティン・ローマン・レベルスキーの音源と共に３００部が布製本されリリース。
